Seabourn reduces need of plastic bottles by tapping onboard

Seabourn is a luxury cruise line regarded as one of the most celebrated in the world, delivering the finest travel experience to travelers on all seven continents. The company is further expanding its service of premium still and sparkling drinking water, using Nordaq systems on their five cruise ships, and will now offer the premium water tapped onboard to both guests and crew. For more than three years, the line has offered Nordaq filtered water to guests on its fleet.
The line operates all around the world, from short seven-day Caribbean cruises to exotic 140+ day around the world cruises. With water makers (removing the salt) and Nordaq water filter systems on-board they are producing their own premium drinking water, reducing the need for pre-bottled and transported water, on its ships Seabourn Odyssey, Sojourn, Quest, Encore, and Ovation.
Other than getting the best quality water and minimizing the CO₂-impact, the onboard staff gains significant space in the storage room with the reduction of bottled water inventory.
