Anantara Siam Bangkok flagship hotel will use the Swedish water system for its first choice pouring water throughout all food and drink outlets.

At its prestigious location, opposite the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is home to some of the city’s most renowned restaurants and bars. By partnering with Nordaq, the hotel is able to provide premium quality water via an environmentally responsible process in its award-winning outlets.

Nordaq water systems produce premium drinking water directly on site, complete with all the necessary salts and minerals, but free from added chemicals or flavours, without the carbon footprint associated with transportation, and plastic-free. Nordaq is a provider of tailored water solutions worldwide and has become the system of choice at many Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel has recently received a PLATINUM Certification from the global sustainability certification standard for travel and tourism, Green Growth 2050. With a score of 90.43 %, the hotel has set the benchmark in the region, demonstrating best practices across all assessment elements including social, cultural, environmental, and operations.

“We have been saying no to plastic straws since 2018 and we continue to improve on our score with the Green Growth project. It’s in our DNA to create bespoke experiences for our guests and offering water of the highest quality is part of this experience. The Nordaq filter system has the unique ability to remove impurities and we believe our guests will appreciate the superior taste and continue to support us in our eco-friendly efforts.”
